Elektriska Svetsnings-Aktiebolaget (ESAB) are a Swedish industrial company and leading manufacturer in welding products and advanced cutting systems. Founded over 100 years ago in 1904 by Oscar Kjellberg, a Swedish engineer, developed the world’s first coated welding electrode and started ESAB’s journey. Throughout the years, ESAB’s mission has remained the same: to continuously seek new and improved ways of serving their customers. ESAB’s world leading expertise in manual welding and cutting equipment, welding consumables, welding automation and mechanized cutting systems remain unrivalled to this day.
In 2017, we became the first Platinum Partner for ESAB in the UK. To achieve this status, distributors must comply with a stringent list of criteria, which Weldsafe successfully fulfilled through already existing, extensive operating processes. Our view of what it means to be a model distributor is very closely aligned with that of ESAB’s.
The key element of our partnership with ESAB is to offer our customers the highest quality welding equipment and premium aftercare services. As a Platinum Partner, we have preferential access to new ESAB products, we have the ability to offer demonstrations of the products from ESAB experts, and our factory trained engineers are licensed ESAB service engineers.
