Description

A used set of Bode “Sizzer” type welding rotators (turning rolls), model I/CR 40, made by F. Bode & Son Ltd. Ideal for circumferential welding of pipe, tanks and small vessels. The set has two sections, each on its own pallet.

Specification

  • Capacity: 2 tonnes for the set
  • Drive section: supports 1 tonne, rotates 2 tonnes
  • Idler section: supports 1 tonne
  • Work diameter: 150 mm to 2000 mm, set by moving the support arms to one of four positions (150 to 400 mm, 400 to 760 mm, 760 to 1220 mm, 1220 to 2000 mm)
  • Rollers: two per section, cast iron centres with interchangeable polyurethane tyres, 200 mm x 40 mm, on machined steel axles
  • Speed: variable, 75 mm to 1500 mm per minute
  • Supply: 415V
  • Adjustment: manual
  • Control: remote pendant on 4.5 m cable with forward, stop and reverse buttons and speed control (included)
  • Robust fabricated all steel frames
