Description
The Fortis 500 C Pulse W Package is the most powerful Fortis compact: 500 A at 40 % duty cycle and 360 A at 100 %, with the CU 1200 cooling unit fitted and a water-cooled MTW 500i torch. It comes set up for 1.2 mm wire.
The Fronius Fortis is the new manual MIG/MAG range that replaces the TransSteel. One compact machine covers MIG/MAG, TIG DC and MMA welding, with up to 240 optimised characteristics for steel, stainless steel and aluminium, a clear plain-text display in over 30 languages, and WiFi and Bluetooth as standard.

Delivery and warranty
This is a Fronius ready-to-weld package. It comes factory-packed in a sealed box from Fronius in Austria, so the contents can’t be changed. Delivery is usually around 3 weeks from order; ask us for a current lead time.
Every Fortis comes with a 3-year Fronius manufacturer’s warranty, with no registration needed. We also offer demonstrations, servicing and calibration.
Trolleys, gas bottles and regulators shown in some photos are not included. The Fronius TU Car 4 trolleys fit every Fortis compact.
